Founded on the legacy of the late Anthony Morgan, built with the steady dedication of his wife, Mandy, and a fresh perspective by his daughter, Megan, Silhouette Furniture blends timeless craftsmanship with modern direction. Our team works closely with clients across Africa to deliver custom outdoor furniture solutions -delivering quality, design-orientated solutions. Now, our craftsmanship extends to residential spaces too.

Our Story
Silhouette Furniture’s story began long before its name was known. In 1987, Anthony Morgan purchased Osiers, a cane retailer later acquired by Wetherlys, where he remained as a director until 2003. That same year, Anthony took ownership of Silhouette Furniture – the then leading supplier of outdoor furniture to Wetherlys – and began building what would become one of South Africa’s most trusted names in hospitality furniture.
Anthony shifted Silhouette’s focus toward large-scale hospitality supply and local manufacturing, growing a hands-on operation built on relationships, quality, and social upliftment through weaving programs. Alongside him every step of the way was his wife, Mandy, whose presence ensured consistency and support for the clients and team who came to rely on the business.
In 2020, Anthony’s daughter Megan joined the family business, bringing with her global experience from the textile and furniture industries, and a vision to evolve the brand while preserving its core values. After Anthony’s passing in March 2024, Megan stepped into leadership, supported by Mandy and the dedicated team, carrying forward Anthony’s legacy with purpose and modern sensibility.
Today, Silhouette Furniture stands at the intersection of heritage and innovation – offering personalised, high-quality service with the flexibility and vision needed for the future.

Since 2002, Silhouette Furniture’s Social Empowerment Program has created meaningful employment for skilled women and men weavers along KZN’s North and South Coast. With a focus on skill-building, fair compensation, and local economic development, the program allows artisans to work from home, support their families, and take pride in their craftsmanship.
What began as a small initiative under Anthony’s leadership has grown into a defining part of our identity – one Megan and the team continue to nurture. Our weavers are not just contributors to our product line; they are part of our story, our success, and our vision for a stronger, more connected Africa.
